The centre is connected to the network of higher education institutions in the region and to the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.
In addition, the lyceum has a museum of Jaloliddin Manguberdi, a gym and sports complex, a parade ground, a canteen and a dormitory.
Students can take part in more than 10 subjects, information technology, creative clubs and sports sections. Free clothing and four hot meals a day are provided.
The Head of State got acquainted with the educational institution and the educational process and talked to teachers and students. It was noted that the patriotism and courage of Jaloliddin Manguberdi serve as an example for the younger generation.
“It's good that exact sciences are taught here. At the same time, special attention should be paid to the education of patriotism and the study of our values. National spirit and pride should be the strongest weapon of our youth, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
It was noted that high combat readiness and morale are an important support for the country's defenders.
The lyceum cooperates with the Urgench State University and the Chirchik Higher Tank Command and Engineering School. Military-patriotic events and sports competitions are also held with the participation of students of the Urgench 3 General School. It is planned to extend this practice to other schools.
