Following the first day of his visit to Khorezm Region, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a working meeting with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Energy, Uzkimyosanoat JSC, and a large foreign investment company.
The issues of joint implementation of a large gas chemical project in Khorezm Region with a total investment of more than $10 billion were discussed.
Future facilities are expected to be capable of producing 2.5 million tons of product per year and create 3 thousand jobs. The project implementation period is 2024-2028.
The implementation of the project will give a new impetus to the development of the gas chemical industry and will become one of the industrial flagships of the New Uzbekistan.
