The President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the Humo Arena in Tashkent as part of his official visit programme.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the Belarusian President at the sports complex.

The meeting at the Ice Palace is deeply symbolic. Aleksandr Lukashenko is a great fan of ice hockey and pays special attention to the development of this sport in Belarus, having personally attended ice hockey matches on several occasions.

Uzbekistan is also making great efforts to develop winter sports, including hockey. In 2019, on the initiative of the leadership of our country, the multifunctional sports complex "Humo Arena" was built. The Tashkent "Humo" team has been successful in international and continental tournaments, including matches against the "Neman" club from Grodno, Belarus.

During the visit, the presidents watched a match between the hockey teams - Tashkent's "Humo" and "Nomad" from Astana. At the end of the meeting, the distinguished guests were presented with personalized hockey jerseys.
