Dear compatriots!

I sincerely congratulate you, all our multinational people on an important date in the life of our country - the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces and the Day of Defenders of Homeland.

Our people regard you as brave and courageous soldiers who honorably carry out the highest mission - to defend the Homeland, worthy successors of the glorious traditions of glorious ancestors such as Jaloliddin Manguberdy, Amir Temur, Babur Mirzo.

On this festive day, we all feel even more strongly that owing to your strong will and combat spirit, the independence of the country, the peaceful and tranquil life of the people, the inviolability of the borders are in strong and reliable hands.

We can confidently say that all the successes and achievements on the path of building a New Uzbekistan have been greatly contributed by our Armed Forces, thousands of servicemen who have been honorably fulfilling their duty.

At these moments, we pay tribute to the courage of the sons of our nation, recall those who heroically lost their lives defending the Homeland, bow down before their enduring memory. I am confident that the glorious names of the heroes, their heroic deeds will live forever in the hearts of the people, and for us they will always stand for us in the ranks.

Dear compatriots!

As a result of the reforms carried out in recent years on the noble principle of “The people and the army stand as one” to enhance the combat potential of our Armed Forces and fundamental modernization of military construction, a profound qualitative change is taking place in the national army, and military service becoming truly honorable.

Special attention is being paid to the military-patriotic education of young people.

The army’s professionalism and its prestige in the world are growing. This is clearly demonstrated by the active participation of representatives of the country’s Armed Forces in prestigious international military competitions, in which they enjoy prize-winning places.

Comprehensive measures are being implemented for the social protection of servicemen, their families and veterans.

Today, we have every reason to state that due to such efforts and active cooperation between the national army and the people, our Armed Forces are becoming a reliable guarantor of development, peace and stability in the country, a true school of strength and courage.

Dear friends!

In today’s extremely complicated situation in the world, the reliable maintenance of the security and interests of the Motherland is becoming more and more important.

The priority tasks in the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy have been defined as ensuring the security and territorial integrity of the country, peace and harmony in the society, further strengthening of the defense potential and development of our Armed Forces.

In this regard, we will pay great attention to increasing Uzbekistan’s military-scientific and production potential, improving the combat readiness of the Armed Forces, providing them with modern weapons and military equipment, and introducing digital technologies into the activities of the troops on a broad scale.

As the great military leader Amir Temur said, victory is first and foremost the result of combat training, mental strength and firm will.

Therefore, our attention will continue to be focused on boosting the morale of our brave and courageous soldiers, who are the main force of the national army, as well as their steadfastness and ability to overcome any trials.
