On January 10, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a business meeting with Suma Chakrabarti, Advisor on Economic Development, Good Governance and International Cooperation.

Ongoing activities and future steps to improve the efficiency of socio-economic reforms within the «Uzbekistan - 2030» Strategy were considered.

Special attention was paid to practical aspects of the implementation of the Strategy in 2024, which has been declared the Year of support for youth and business in our country.

The issues of more effective use of domestic reserves and strengthening of cooperation with foreign partners in such areas as increasing the attraction of foreign investments, creation of broad opportunities for business and private property, development of science, innovation, IT sphere, the introduction of "green" and digital technologies were discussed.
