Following the talks between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, a joint statement was adopted on further development of relations of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
In the presence of the Heads of State, an Intergovernmental Agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports and agreements on cooperation in the fields of education, science, technology, innovation and sport were also signed.
