The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, who is visiting our country to attend the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan conveyed to the Leader of Uzbekistan sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The head of state expressed satisfaction with the progressive development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance.

A particular emphasis was placed on the full implementation of high-level agreements, including the increase in trade turnover and the promotion of projects in the field of industrial cooperation and logistics.

In this context, the importance of continuing the effective work of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission was underlined.
