On November 1 and 2, the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the programme of the visit, high-level talks will be held in the city of Samarkand to discuss the issues of further development of the multifaceted Uzbek-French relations.

The focus will be on expanding practical interaction in trade and economic, innovation, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The Leaders of Uzbekistan and France will also take part in a joint business forum with the participation of leading companies and banking and financial institutions of the two countries.

The Summit is expected to be followed by the adoption of a number of intergovernmental and interagency agreements, as well as a package of trade and investment agreements.
