On October 23, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the delegation of the United States, led by the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power.

The American delegation arrived in our country to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of Central Asian countries and the United States on development matters.

The issues of further strengthening constructive and beneficial bilateral cooperation were discussed.

It is worth noting that successful projects have been implemented in Uzbekistan in collaboration with USAID in various sectors, including healthcare, education, "green" energy, agribusiness and others.

The discussions also included the practical implementation of agreements reached at the summit of heads of states in the "C5+1" format session at the United Nations General Assembly in New York in September of this year.
