As part of a working visit to the city of Beijing, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his residence, met with the Chairman of State Grid Corporation of China Mr. Xin Baoan.

This power grid corporation of China is the leading company in the sector, holding a prominent position in the Fortune Global 500 ranking.

The company has great experience in implementation of tremendous projects on construction and operation of power transmission networks including foreign countries. It has assets totaling $800 billion.

The discussions focused on the implementation of high-potential projects in cooperation with “State Grid”. This includes the construction of high voltage networks and infrastructure objects with application of modern engineering solutions and advanced technologies.

The special attention was given to the training of qualified specialists.

The agreement was reached on implementing road map to boost cooperative projects.
