On October 5-7, upon the invitation of President Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the Russian Federation.

The program of the visit include negotiations between the two leaders in Moscow and meeting with the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin.

The issues of further strengthening the bilateral strategic partnership and alliance are on the agenda of meetings. A special attention will be given to enhancing practical cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, investment, migration, and humanitarian affairs.

The official visit's program also includes a trip by the President of Uzbekistan to Tatarstan, where negotiations with the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov will be held.
