On October 2, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the former Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, founder of a number of large investment and industrial holdings in the country Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani at his residence in Doha.

The issues considering further expansion of mutually beneficial business cooperation at the level of leading companies and enterprises of Uzbekistan and Qatar were considered.

The sides considered the implementation of promising projects in the fields of energy, industry, infrastructure, tourism, and the banking and financial sector.

The President noted the importance of accelerating the practical implementation of joint projects by forming an expert group and adopting a “road map”.
