Following the talks between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a signing ceremony took place.

In particular, the following documents were signed, covering various areas of cooperation:

– Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the State of Qatar on cooperation in tourism and business events;

– Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Social Development and Family of the State of Qatar;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Qatar Investment Authority on investment cooperation;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority of the State of Qatar.

In addition, the following agreements were concluded during the visit:

– Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights and the National Human Rights Committee of the State of Qatar;

– Agreement on the creation of a joint business council between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
