On October 1, the President the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met  with the Chairman of the Board of Power International Holding Mouataz Al Khayyat at his residence in Doha.

"Power International" is the largest national holding company, actively engaged in activities across 19 countries worldwide in various sectors, including energy, petrochemicals, industry, agriculture, transportation infrastructure, healthcare, tourism, and more. It stands as one of the leading diversified companies in the Middle East.

Currently, a partnership with this company is involved in the construction of a modern livestock cluster in the Jizzakh Region, which will become the largest agro-industrial complex in the region.

Prospective joint projects include the construction of a high-speed highway, increasing ammonia and urea production volumes, and establishing modern business and hotel infrastructure, as well as healthcare facilities in our country.

The Qatari side informed about the opening of the holding office in Uzbekistan in near future.
