At the invitation of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the city of Doha.

At Sheikh Hamad International Airport, an honorary guard was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.

The Head of our State was welcomed by the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and other officials.

According to the program of the state visit, the two leaders will hold summit meetings tomorrow to discuss further deepening of Uzbek-Qatari relations and development of multifaceted cooperation, primarily in political, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Additionally, meetings between the President of Uzbekistan and representatives of Qatar's business circles are also planned.
