Our people see in you - thousands of skilled builders and engineers, craftsmen and architects, representatives of design and contracting organizations - selfless people who make a worthy contribution to the development of New Uzbekistan.

With your tireless work, more and more residential areas, industrial enterprises, networks of roads and communications, educational, healthcare, cultural and sports facilities are being built, which radically change the face of the country, making our life even more comfortable and prosperous. The construction of strong and beautiful buildings, modern roads and bridges for the people is truly one of the best deeds in the world.

And on this festive day, of course, you deserve sincere gratitude for such a noble activity.

Dear compatriots!

Today, we are all witnesses to the fact that our country, in the full sense of the word, has turned into a huge construction site. The construction industry, like other areas, is rapidly developing, new technologies and innovations, the most advanced architectural solutions are being actively introduced in it.

Over the past seven years, construction volumes in the country have increased many times - from 30 trillion soums in 2016 to 131 trillion soums in 2022, and in the first half of this year they reached 68 trillion soums. All this speaks of how far our builders have come in a short period of time.

It should be noted that in recent years, within the framework of the “Obod Qishloq” and “Obod Mahalla” programs, in more than 1,500 villages and mahallas of the republic, a lot of work has been done to build and improve road and transport infrastructure, engineering and communication networks, and social facilities.

And such work is consistently continued based on the needs of the population. This also confirms the fact that this year, housing construction for a total of 90,000 apartments is underway in the “New Uzbekistan” massifs and in areas where this issue is especially relevant.

Indeed, today there is every reason to say that a new stage has begun in the construction sector in the country. First of all, this is the strengthening of its legal and material and technical base, the emergence in all regions of the republic of more and more construction organizations operating on the basis of advanced technologies and approaches, the accelerated development of the production of building materials, and the creation of a system for specialized training of qualified personnel.

Dear friends!

Based on the important and urgent tasks set in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan, we, together with you, began a lot of work to further deepen reforms in the sphere, create master plans and urban planning projects based on new principles. In particular, programs are being formed to improve the public administration system in the field of urbanization and develop appropriate urban planning documentation for settlements for 2023-2027.

Our focus will continue to be on strengthening public control at all stages of construction, improving its quality and efficiency through the widespread introduction of modern information and communication technologies into the sphere, improving the working and living conditions of builders, and their comprehensive stimulation.
