Uzbek President traditionally started his trip to Bukhara Region with a visit to the Bahouddin Naqshband Mausoleum.

Ayats from the Quran, a dua for the dead, peace and prosperity in the country were recited.

Youth education and Islamic enlightenment were noted in the conversation with religious leaders. The importance of protecting young people from the impact of destructive ideas, promoting their employment, and paying particular attention and care to the destitute families was emphasized.

Besides, the project of construction and renovation works around the complex was discussed here. According to the plan, it is envisaged to restore the historical path leading from the Toki-Miyona gate to the Bahouddin Naqshband Mausoleum, repair the Doniyolbiy madrasah, build a room for ablution and a museum.

The President instructed expanding the conditions for pilgrimage tourism, organizing direct flights to Bukhara from abroad, building a hotel, and improving the cemetery.
