The topical issues of further developing multifaceted cooperation were discussed during a telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.

At the beginning of the conversation, Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan extended his warmest congratulations to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday, wishing him sound health, prosperity and great success. He also conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of the UAE HH Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan.

It was noted with satisfaction that Uzbek-Emirati relations have reached the highest level in recent years. The volume of trade turnover is growing dynamically, and the number of joint ventures is increasing. The portfolio of ongoing investment projects exceeds $4 billion.

The importance of thorough preparation for the upcoming summit events was noted. It is necessary to provide them with new, practical content, especially in the economic and investment spheres.

In this context, a particular attention is paid to the meetings of the government delegations of the two countries in order to elaborate concrete proposals and promising projects.
