On July 24, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed the issues of further development of practical interaction between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan warmly congratulated our President on the occasion of his birthday, wished him sound health and great success, the brotherly people of Uzbekistan well-being and prosperity.

Special attention was paid to the issues of boosting mutual trade and promoting cooperation projects in priority sectors of the economy, including industry, energy, agriculture, transport and other important areas.

The first results of the joint work on the establishment of the Shavat – Dashaguz border free trade zone were satisfactorily emphasized.
