President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Hastimom makhalla in Almazar district.

There are more than 1.5 thousand residents here. The majority of families are engaged in handicrafts and trade.

The President got acquainted with the conditions in houses and conversed with the people. The representatives of the elders told about the life in the makhalla, recited dua for peace, tranquility in our country and the well-being of our people.

As it is known, the "Prosperous Makhalla" and "Prosperous Village" programs are being implemented in all regions of our country, under which roads and engineering networks are being renewed. It is also envisaged to improve the infrastructure in this makhalla on the basis of the "Prosperous House" program.

"Our goal and duty is to create decent conditions for everyone," the President said.

The Uzbek Leader inspected the handicraft workshop and a small exhibition organized in the makhalla. The responsible officials have been instructed to develop self-employment among the population and to organize trading outlets and services for tourists.
