At the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Jeddah on July 18-19 this year to participate in the first Summit of Heads of State in the format of "Central Asia - Gulf Cooperation Council".
The leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as the Secretary General of the Council, are expected to participate in the upcoming summit.
According to the agenda, the issues of development of interregional cooperation in the political, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres will be considered. There will be an exchange of views on current aspects of international and regional politics.
A number of bilateral meetings are planned within the framework of the Summit.
