The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Kazakh Leader cordially congratulated Uzbek Leader on his convincing victory in the presidential elections and wished him further success, well-being, and prosperity.

The progressive dynamics of developing strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in accordance with the agreements reached at the highest level was satisfactorily noted. The volume of mutual trade is growing. Important investment and humanitarian programs are being implemented.

A particular attention was paid to further promoting joint trade and economic interaction projects.

The views on the current issues of an international agenda and regional cooperation were exchanged. Besides, the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events was considered.
