The need for joint comprehensive preparation at the highest level of the upcoming meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council was discussed during a telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The President of Türkiye warmly congratulated the Uzbek Leader on his convincing victory in the early presidential elections, noting the high voter turnout and the broad popular support for the ongoing reforms in the New Uzbekistan.

It was noted with satisfaction that the deep strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye has reached its highest level in recent years.

A particular attention was paid to continuing active contacts and exchanges, increasing the volume of mutual trade, and facilitating the implementation of important investment projects and humanitarian programs.
