On July 4, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the regular meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's Council of the Heads of State, to be held in the format of a videoconference, at the invitation of Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi.

The summit's agenda will include topical issues of further deepening multifaceted cooperation within the SCO, expansion and improvement of the Organisation's activities.

Following the meeting, the SCO leaders are expected to adopt a number of decisions in the field of economic cooperation, digital transformation, regional security, as well as in the cultural and humanitarian spheres and other priority areas.
