 Following the talks, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni adopted a joint declaration on establishing relations of strategic partnership between our two nations.

Moreover, 10 intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents aimed at bolstering multifaceted interaction have been exchanged at the presence of the two leaders. These include agreements on mutual encouragement and protection of investments, on cooperation in legal issues, in the sphere of industrial property and agriculture.

The two sides have also adopted memorandums of cooperation between cultural heritage agency of Uzbekistan and Italian trade agency on restoration, the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture of Italian Republic on cooperation in culture, the partnership program between foreign affairs ministries for 2023-2024 and cultural exchange program for the period up to 2026.
