As part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with a delegation of the European Union led by Sanctions Envoy David O’Sullivan.

Various aspects of the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and the EU, primarily in trade and economic sphere, have been considered.

The growth in the volume of mutual trade observed in recent years, the increase in the number of joint ventures and investment projects implemented under the EU preferential system «GSP+» was satisfactorily noted.

Besides, there was an exchange of views on the current issues of international agenda.
