As part of the Tashkent Investment Forum program, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov.

The practical aspects of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz multifaceted cooperation have been discussed.

The current high level of bilateral relations was satisfactorily noted. Intensive contacts are continuing, important economic projects and humanitarian programs are being implemented.

Recently, the renovated theater named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur has been solemnly opened in the city of Osh, and the Sports Games of athletes have been successfully held in Kokand city. The extensive preparations are being made for the Forum of Regions and the meeting of the Dialogue of Generations.

The President stressed the need to accelerate cooperation projects in the automotive industry, energy, transport infrastructure, and the creation of trading houses in the capitals.
