President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the “Omon Med Pharm” enterprise in the city of Gulistan.

The enterprise produces 2 million 400 thousand packs of pharmaceuticals, mainly of local medicinal herbs and raw materials.

Antibiotics, medicines in the form of tablets, ampoules and infusions produced by the enterprise are delivered to hospitals and pharmacies. The company also plans to export some of its products to neighboring countries. The company employs about a thousand people.

The Head of our state became familiarized with the production process and future plans of the company.

This limited liability company is developing as a medical cluster. A polyclinic, a school, and a university are under construction there.

The President instructed the responsible officials to assist the company in expanding the range of medicines and their export.

Pharmaceutical products manufactured in Syrdarya region were also presented here.

A launch ceremony of 6 new enterprises was held. They are “River Med Pharma” Limited Liability Company, “Eurasia Gas Beton”, “Modern Marbel”, “Peng Sheng Charm” in Syrdarya district, “Toshkent City Gold Block” in Saykhunabad district and “Inter Trading Group” in Yangiyer city. Their heads spoke about their capabilities through a video link.

It was noted that “River Med Pharma” will produce 42 million units of infusion medicines annually and provide employment to 250 people.

“Eurasia Gas Beton” specializes in the production of construction materials. Some 450 thousand cubic meters of concrete will be produced by the Dutch technology and 100 jobs will be created here.

“Modern Marbel” is capable of producing 800 thousand square meters of marble slabs a year.

“Peng Sheng Charm” has the capacity to produce 1.5 thousand square meters of natural leather and 468 tons of gelatin per year. Most of this production is planned to be exported.

The “Toshkent City Gold Block” and “Inter Trading Group” projects are implemented entirely through foreign direct investment. The first enterprise will be able to produce 300 thousand cubic meters of gas blocks, the second one - 45 thousand tons of flour per year.

In general, around 600 jobs will be created at these enterprises, thanks to their activity the production in the region will rise by 37 billion Uzbek soums, exports - by almost 30 million dollars.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev pressed a symbolic button and launched the new enterprises.
