On April 3, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received French President's Advisor Isabelle Dumont. The parties discussed practical implementation of agreements reached at the top-level and the prospects of enhancing comprehensive partnership between the two countries.

The distinguished guest conveyed sincere greetings and a personal letter from President of France Emmanuel Macron to our President.

The two sides underscored the importance of maintaining vigorous political contacts, boosting mutual trade, promoting major cooperation projects with France's leading companies and banks in sectors like «green» energy, mining sector, agriculture, textile industry, modernization of water supply, transport and tourism infrastructure.

The success of cultural events and exhibitions at the Louvre Museum and the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris was praised. The expansion of French language teaching in schools in Uzbekistan was also discussed.

Views were exchanged on topical aspects of regional interaction in Central Asia.
