The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Nukus Youth Technopark.
This complex is aimed at realizing talents and improving the skills of young people, creating new jobs. In particular, every year 1.5 thousand boys and girls can learn professions here in 9 areas, such as computer literacy, graphic design, robotics, 3D modeling and acceleration. To do this, the technopark is equipped with modern technology, has laboratories and workshops.
Currently, based on the ideas of graduates of training courses, startups have been formed, about 50 projects have been submitted to the competitions "Future Scientist", "Technoways", "Start4 Region". A project with a total cost of 955 million Uzbek soums on the topic “Organization of a seed plantation in the arid conditions of the Aral Sea Region” is also being implemented. The project will help to use the bottom of the dried sea, save water and reduce the salt content in the soil.
In general, the technopark serves young people to realize their aspirations and ideas.
Uzbek President was informed about the projects of young innovators in the production of dried organic tomatoes, wastewater treatment and growing plants for fish food. These "green" projects have received certificates from European countries.
The President stressed the need to expand funding and implement the projects presented.
