It gives me a great pleasure on behalf of the Chinese government and people, as well as on my own behalf to congratulate You and the people of Your country on the traditional holiday of Uzbekistan - Navruz.

Following the outcomes of our friendly and productive talks during my state visit to Uzbekistan in September last year, we adopted a joint statement that promotes further development of strategic partnership of our countries, serves the interests of our peoples and has defined the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.

I attach great attention to the development of the Chinese-Uzbek relations. I look forward to Your attendance at the first «China-Central Asia» Summit planned for May this year and Your state visit to China.

I am confident that our talks with You on the prospects of the Chinese-Central Asian relations and big plans of our countries for bilateral cooperation will elevate the Uzbek-Chinese interaction to a higher level.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to wish Your Excellency a sound health and all the successes in your responsible endeavor.
