On March 16, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban as part of a program of the primary day of an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
At the outset, the President of our state sincerely congratulated the Prime Minister and the friendly people of Hungary on the national holiday - the Day of the Hungarian Revolution.
The dynamic development of bilateral relations of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation has been noted with deep satisfaction.
The issues of supporting and accelerating joint investment projects with the participation of leading companies of the two countries have been considered.
A particular attention is paid to the establishment of direct flights and the creation of a production site for effective cooperation among the enterprises of Uzbekistan and Hungary.
Besides, there was an exchange of views on the current international agenda.
