On March 1, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Baku at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yaqub Eyyubov and other officials welcomed the head of our state at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
Today there will be a meeting of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan to discuss the practical implementation of the agreements reached earlier.
Tomorrow, on March 2, Baku will host the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, the second largest international organization after the United Nations. The President of Uzbekistan will address the plenary session of the event.
