President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of sewing enterprise "Bukhara Azteks" in Shafirkan District.

Previously, there used to be no industrial capacities in this district. As a result of transformations in agriculture, a cluster system has also appeared here, and industry has been developed. Currently, cotton itself is used here to produce yarn, fabrics, ready-made clothes, cotton oil, soap, fodder and dozens of other products.

"Bukhara Azteks" is one of such modern enterprises. A complex cycle of cultivation and deep processing of cotton has been mastered here. The degree of localization has reached 100 %.

The cost of this project is $8.7 million. The equipment from Japan, Germany and Turkey has been installed. A total of over a thousand people are employed.

The enterprise manufactures 16 million ready-made garments a year, 50% of which is to be exported to foreign markets.

The President of our state has appreciated the quality of products made at the enterprise and conversed with employees.

Remarkably, solar panels have been installed on the roof of the factory. The President pointed out to the responsible officials the need to increase such modern enterprises and ensure public employment.
