President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Bukhara Region and visited the Bahouddin Naqshband Mausoleum.

Surahs (verses) from the Holy Quran were recited, and a supplication to the Almighty for the repose of the souls of the departed, as well as to send peace and prosperity to our country was made.

«We are visiting all of the regions, giving an impetus for developing spheres, striving to solve problems and taking all our efforts to make the people happy. Today, we have arrived in Bukhara to set new goals and improve people's well-being. May the Almighty help us in all our endeavors», Shavkat Mirziyoyev has said.

During the conversation with religious figures, the need to develop religious education and eradicate illiteracy by means of enlightenment was emphasized.

«Over the past years, an atmosphere of openness and freedom has been established not only in religious sphere, but also in all fields, and we have organized several research centers. However, how does that benefit our people? In order to be useful to our people, our society should be aware of this potential. The ignorance should be fought with enlightenment, relying on the heritage of our ancestors such as Bukhari, Moturidi, Marginoni. To this end, it is necessary to link religious education with practice and to turn our academic centers into world leaders», the President has said.
