President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has held a meeting on youth employment and substantial leisure-time activities.
State youth policy in our country is characterized by targeting and wide coverage. In particular, the activity of youth leaders in 9,406 makhallas was established last year, and the possibility of addressing young people's problems directly in the makhalla was created. As a result, the duration of considering appeals from young people has shortened from 30 days to 5 days. At present, 25 types of assistance are provided to young men and women on the recommendation of their leaders.
The social standing of 9 million young people aged 14-30 have been analyzed to address vital issues and provide employment for the younger generation. The "Five Initiatives Olympiad" is held for entertaining leisure time and discovering young people's talents.
During the meeting, the need to continue and promote this work to a qualitatively new level was emphasized.
The President has suggested an initiative to implement "School of Life" program, aimed at vocational training and employment of school graduates.
It was determined that in order to fully provide the youth with attention and support, they will attached to the state bodies through the system "from the makhalla to the ministry".
The task is set to digitalize the processes of generating and financing the funds, allocated to young people and ensure that these allocations are targeted. The instructions to support entrepreneurial initiatives, to develop business skills of boys and girls have been given.
The youth of our country has a keen interest in art, literature, and sports. There will be "Caravan of Culture" events, festivals, intellectual and sports competitions to extend the access to the conditions created in these spheres. Youth alleys and creative parks will be organized.
The importance of creation and regular updating of alternative information resources for reliable protection of youth from destructive influence was noted.
