The President has visited Ezgulik makhalla in Sergeli District of Tashkent city and got acquainted with the population's life.

There are 26 apartment buildings with a population of more than 6 thousand people in this makhalla.

The President has conversed with makhalla residents. The elderly have noted that the difficulties encountered during the cold snap have been overcome, due to the unity of people and public authorities. Power engineers and employees of public utilities worked around the clock, and prompt measures were taken to eliminate emergency situations. In particular, the transformer was renewed in the makhalla.

It should be a good lesson to us. It is necessary for us to have 3-4 times more energy reserves. Therefore, we are paying attention to the development of renewable energy. This is a reliable and environmentally friendly alternative, our President has said.

It has been noted that a priority in the makhalla should be assigned to population employment and youth upbringing. Hence, the current year has been announced the "Year of Human Care and Quality Education” in our country. The conditions are being created to ensure school graduates with the knowledge of two foreign languages and a profession. This initiative is supported by our people.

The elderly made dua with the wishes of peace and prosperity to our country and well-being to our people.
