President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of Aysel Energy Limited Liability Company in the capital city.

During abnormal cold weather this winter problems in functioning of power grids appeared. In particular, some old transformers could not withstand the load and failed, resulting in power outages.

The President gave instructions to the responsible officials of the industry to renew the power grids and to expand the production of the necessary equipment. The visit to this enterprise today is a logical continuation of the implementation of the set tasks and prevention of problems in the power grids.

«Aysel Energy» is capable of producing 10 thousand large electrical equipment per year. The level of localization at the enterprise, which operates using Turkish technology, has reached 70%. As a result, the production cost and installation costs of transformers are reduced. This will make it possible to modernize outdated transformers not only in the capital, but also throughout the country.

The responsible men reported that this year the need for power grids across the country will be 3.2 thousand transformers and 12 thousand kilometers of cables. The President instructed to analyze imports and increase production volumes, and increase the share of domestic producers when placing orders.

Overall, the development of this area of the energy industry will serve to improve the sustainability of power grids.
