President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the functioning of «Art soft ceramics» enterprise in the city of Kuvasay.

The enterprise, launched in December last year, is capable of producing nearly 3 million square meters of porcelain stoneware a year. Today, there are 350 workers and specialists working here.

Thanks to full localization, the factory supplies goods to the market at prices much lower than those of their foreign counterparts. It is planned that 35% of production will be exported to Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

The President noted the importance of increasing export indicators of the enterprise and Kuvasay city as a whole. To this end, instructions have been given to establish cooperation with foreign industrial zones and increase jobs.
