In his Address to the people, the President of our country has emphasized the importance of teaching foreign languages and professions to schoolchildren. On January 20, a meeting was held on identifying the tasks in this direction. It has been determined to establish teaching of 64 types of working professions at schools based on the characteristics of districts and makhallas (local neighborhood community areas).

This model has begun to be implemented on the ground. In particular, the appropriate conditions have been created at secondary school No. 55 of Andijan Region after the renovation. The empty basement of this school was allocated to entrepreneurs, who organized training workshops there and began teaching professions to young people.

The President has visited these workshops.

The high school students learn sewing, furniture making, confectionery, shoemaking, basket weaving, and sewing of bedding. There is also a car repair shop, a welding shop, a printing shop, computer services, and hairdressing salons organized on the territory of the school.

Uzbek President conversed with the youth, who are acquiring a profession.

«If you pay attention to those who graduates from school without a specialty, it will be harder to make their life, find a job. The sky is the limit for those who are skilled and know a foreign language. And you have this opportunity. Work hard, study diligently, learn a profession. When do decisions and efforts pay off? When there are brilliant specialists. Investors also focus on the knowledge and skills of the staff. The greatest wealth of our country is the youth», Shavkat Mirziyoyev has said.
