On December 21, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in our country on a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the distinguished guest at the Tashkent International Airport.

The leaders warmly greeted each other and conducted a brief conversation.

Afterwards, the Kazakh leader visited the «Yangi Uzbekistan» (‘A New Uzbekistan’) Park and by tradition, laid flowers at the Independence Monument.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed in detail about the history and the concept of sculpture of this complex.
