On December 21-22 this year, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to our country at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

As part of the visit program, high-level talks will be held to discuss topical issues of bilateral and regional agenda.

The main issues of the summit include further deepening of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance, increasing the volume of mutual trade, promoting mutually beneficial industrial cooperation projects, expanding cooperation in agriculture, transport and logistics, continuing active interregional, cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

A number of large joint investment projects are planned to be launched by the Presidents.

Following the meetings, a solid package of bilateral agreements on priority areas of practical cooperation is expected to be adopted.
