On December 16, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Suma Chakrabarti, adviser on economic development, effective governance and international cooperation.

The achieved outcomes and further plans have been discussed as part of the economic and management reforms in our country.

The President, addressing the ongoing reforms in all key areas, stressed the importance of continuing efforts on modernization and ensuring the competitiveness of top-priority economic sectors, in the areas of public administration transformation, digitization and investment potential.

Suma Chakrabarti, having noted the effective measures, undertaken by Uzbekistan in a challenging global economic environment, ensuring the trend of economic reforms in the country, supported the efforts for promoting synergy in this direction at a new stage.

During the meeting, other key areas on the agenda were also considered.
