On November 21, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Leader of our country sincerely congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with successful holding the national presidential elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a landslide victory.
The topical issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Kazakh relations of good neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance were considered.
A particular attention was paid to the preparation of the upcoming high-level meetings.
The importance of building up a practical cooperation in priority areas, such as trade, industry, energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, and other sectors of the economy was emphasized.
There was also an exchange of views on the prospects for regional interaction.
