On September 15, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in the city of Samarkand to participate in a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The Prime Minister of the Republic Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials met the distinguished guest at the international airport.
Then the leader of Tajikistan visited the «Hazrati Khizr» complex, where he laid flowers at the grave of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
