On August 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the creative work in Tashkent Region and in the capital city.

As part of this work, a unified data storage and processing center of E-government system has been built in Zangiata District.

The measures to digitalize all spheres and improve the convenience of services to the population are being taken in our country. Besides, our country is becoming a unique regional hub of remote services. Thus, it was necessary to create a data center in accordance with the international standards.

Moreover, as part of the strategy «Digital Uzbekistan – 2030» the Center of high performance data storage and processing has been established in Uzbekistan for the first time. The President became familiar with the conditions created here.

The system with capacity of 20 petabytes has been installed at the center in collaboration with the Chinese company Huawei. 580 servers and diesel generators with a total capacity of 5 megawatts provide constant operation of the system. Building cooling and firefighting networks also meet modern demands. In general, the data center is certified TIER III, issued by the international institute «Uptime».

«This center is the «heart» of digitalization, the foundation of «e-government», the President has said.

As a result of the work of the center the multibillion-dollar expenditures of public authorities on data storage and technical support will be saved, and the quality of services provided to citizens and entrepreneurs will improve. The most important thing is that there will be reliable protection against the cyber-attacks.
