On August 3, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev became familiar with a presentation on plans to improve the system of personnel training for investigative agencies.

The responsible officials of relevant authorities provided information on the current problems of conducting initial inquiries and pre-trial investigations, increasing the level of human resources of investigators in terms of emerging new threats and crimes, as well as the measures to eliminate them.

In particular, the need to improve the methodological support of investigative activities in the area of investigation of corruption offenses, economic crime and crimes committed in cyberspace or with the use of information technology, was highlighted.

The President gave targeted instructions to create a new effective system of professional personnel training for investigative agencies, in-service training and continuous professional development on the basis of the requirements of the time and international standards.
