On July 24, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.
At the beginning of the conversation, the President of Kyrgyzstan has warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday and sincerely wished peace, well-being and prosperity to the brotherly Uzbek people.
The agenda of upcoming summits has been discussed. The importance of developing a new package of trade contracts and agreements on industrial cooperation, as well as other bilateral documents on the priority areas of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz strategic partnership has been emphasized.
A particular attention was paid to the promotion of major regional projects in the field of energy and transport.
The President of Uzbekistan has once again congratulated the President of Kyrgyzstan on the success of the regular Consultative Meeting of the Central Asian Heads of States on July 20-21 this year in the town of Cholpon-Ata.
