On June 13, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the United States led by the Commander of the United States Central Command General Michael Kurilla.
The sides have discussed the current issues of further developing the Uzbek-American relations in strategic partnership, enhancing the multifaceted cooperation and deepening the practical interactions in regional security.
A particular attention was paid to promoting initiatives and programs to maintain peace and stability, social and economic reconstruction in Afghanistan, including the implementation of priority infrastructural projects.
