President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a construction area of the New Uzbekistan in the city of Ferghana.

At a premise of 300 hectares of land it is planned to erect 298 multi-storey houses. 80 of them shall be constructed by entrepreneurs this year.

Besides, it shall be built two general education schools, three kindergartens, medical clinics, vending stations and stations for communal services, a sporting complex and a mosque. A lesser industrial zone at 50 hectares of land shall play an important role in ensuring the people’s employment.

A New Uzbekistan Park with an artificial lake shall be erected at a 70 hectares of land in the center of the Residential Area. More than 10 thousand seedlings have already been planted. In all, 21 thousand trees shall be planted at an area.

A New Uzbekistan residential areas shall also be built at Yangi Asr Makhalla (the local residential community area) of the Ferghana District and Yuqori Soyboyi Makhalla of the Yazyavan District.

In all, 244 multi-storey houses for 9 429 apartments shall be commissioned this year in the Ferghana Region.

The President has instructed to provide a residential area with communications and put in place a modern communal servicing.

At this, the President has ended his trip to the Ferghana Region and returned to Tashkent.
